چکیده

A novel MCM-41-supported base catalyst, Ba-MCM-41, was synthesized with a modified impregnation method. Ba2SiO4 was synthesized on the MCM-41 pore wall as confirmed by characterization using X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence, N2 adsorption, Si MAS NMR and transmission electron microscopy. It was also demonstrated that a highly ordered Ba-MCM-41 catalyst with high barium loading (4.1–25.2 wt.%) and dispersion was obtained using this method. The basicity of the catalyst, which was characterized according to the binding energy of O 1s, was increased with increasing amounts of barium in the catalyst. 2003 Elsevier Science Inc. Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of a New Chromium Catalyst Supported on Nanoporous MCM-41 for Oxidation of Olefins and Alkyl Aromatics

The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was covalently grafted with 3-chloropropyl trimethoxylsilane and then was reacted with [Cr(salpr)(H2O)]Cl, (salpr = N,N'-bis(3-salicylidenaminopropyl)amine) to afford MCM-41 containing Cr(salpr) moiety, Cr(salpr)MCM-41. Powder X-ray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analyses revealed that not only the textural characteristics of the support wer...

New Molybdenum Epoxidation Catalyst Derived From Nanoporous MCM-41 Supported Glycine Schiff-Base

Covalent grafting of the nanoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 with 3- aminopropyl trimethoxysilane and acetyl acetone (acac) successively gave modified MCM-41 (acacAmpMCM-41). Reaction of the resulted material with glycine afforded the corresponding supported glycine Schiff base ligand and subsequent reaction with [bis(acetylacetonato)dioxomolybdenum(VI)] was lead to molybdenum complex suppor...
